As Product Owner for our infrastructure as a Service product for use with VS-NfD customers, you will take on central responsibility for refining the product strategy together with Product Management, defining clear and achievable requirements, and thus creating the greatest possible value for our customers.
As the interface between the development team, internal stakeholders, and partners, you ensure maximum clarity of expectations – in all directions.
Hand in hand with our Agile People Lead, you will shape an environment in which the team can perform at its best with high motivation, making a decisive contribution to a secure digital society.

Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to the further development and implementation of our product strategy with a focus on customer satisfaction and business value
- Communicate the product vision and strategy to the development team, stakeholders, and partners
- Review and prioritize requirements for feasibility, business fit, and compliance with our quality & compliance standards; renegotiate with stakeholders if necessary
- Translate product requirements into actionable work packages for the development team using agile methods
- Take budget responsibility for product development and report on KPIs related to product quality
- Ensure transparency and clarity of expectations towards all internal stakeholders
- Analyze customer data and market trends for the continuous optimization of our cloud solution
- Support Product Management in external communications, particularly with the BSI
What you have to bring on board:
- Solid market and industry knowledge as well as deep technical understanding of IaaS and cloud products
- Ability to grasp complex IT infrastructures and mediate between technical teams and stakeholders – in both German and English
- Interest in compliance topics, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and Government Approved Cloud requirements
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner with successful and flexible application of agile methods in an IT environment, ideally in the cloud and/or government context
- High empathy and strong assertiveness to balance stakeholder interests
- Strong sense of ownership, ability to inspire and motivate others
- Team orientation combined with conflict management skills and diplomatic tact
