SysEleven adds Amazon Web Services to its Multi-Cloud Kubernetes aaS

Customers can deliver container-based applications in the cloud of their choice

  • Clients can deploy containerized applications in the cloud of their choice.
  • SysEleven launches Multi-Cloud Kubernetes as a Service. Kubernetes is made usable across cloud vendor boundaries
  • Personal support for Kubernetes projects on various cloud platforms

MetaKube, the Kubernetes as a Service system, is now available on SysEleven’s own OpenStack Cloud as well as on Amazon Web Services (AWS). With the integration of hyperscaler infrastructures in MetaKube, it is now easy to create and manage Kubernetes clusters across borders of cloud vendors and to make them available worldwide. MetaKube takes control of tasks that are needed to operate Kubernetes clusters.

For companies, this brings major advantages: Within minutes, Kubernetes clusters are available on SysEleven’s OpenStack Cloud or AWS. “Because of its rapid availability, agile companies get huge competitive benefits and advantages by being able to react fast to changing customer requirements. With MetaKube, companies have a central user interface, with which all Kubernetes clusters can be managed,” said Marc Korthaus, managing director and founder of SysEleven.

Kubernetes is fast becoming the standard for orchestration of containers and the cloud landscape is changing rapidly. Korthaus continues: “With MetaKube and modern CI/CD pipelines, we have made the complexity of multi-cloud applications easy to manage and opened up new possibilities for their use. With MetaKube, we are pursuing a cloud-native approach and offer services that are 100% compatible with hyperscaler infrastructures with no vendor lock-in. Companies remain flexible and choose what infrastructure is the right one for their project.”

Thanks to SysEleven’s existing connection of its infrastructure to the Amazon Cloud, the operation of applications across multiple clouds is no longer a problem: Workloads with high GDPR requirements can be hosted in SysEleven’s ISO 27001 certified data centers, while AWS’ global infrastructure can be used and connected with it.

With over 12 years’ experience in the development and operation of cloud architectures, SysEleven’s personalized Kubernetes Support with experienced Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) frees clients from being tied to one cloud provider. “We have rationalized the MetaKube GUI and APIs. Our clients are jump in and get started without having to worry about the conditions of individual cloud operators. Thus we see the relationship to our clients’ technicians as the cornerstone of our partnership. That’s why we offer support not just for MetaKube, but also advise and actively help with the use of Kubernetes,” said Simon Pearce, Product Owner MetaKube at SysEleven.
