SysEleven increases investment in cloud and Kubernetes solutions
- The entire company to be ISO 27001 certified

The Berlin-based Kubernetes specialist SysEleven sees increasing demand for its secure cloud solutions following its acquisition by secunet Security Networks AG. The company is responding with increased investments in the further development of its cloud and Kubernetes products. The next milestone is to certify the entire company under ISO 27001. The associated audit process is scheduled to be completed as soon as the first half of 2023. The target date for certifications for “IT-Grundschutz” (base security) and Cloud Computing C5 is also in 2023.
“Data protection-compliant cloud solutions with no compromises in features, scalability, and performance are crucial for modern and autonomous IT. Therefore together with secunet, we will develop a cloud for Germany that perfectly combines these characteristics and, if desired, can do completely without the services of hyperscalers,” says Marc Korthaus, CEO of SysEleven. “I am certain that by pooling our resources, we will succeed in doing so within the next two years.”
SysEleven’s security standards soar
SysEleven has been operating its solutions exclusively in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Germany for many years. They are located at different sites and meet all current security standards. Last year, a third region went live in Frankfurt. Since then, customers have benefited from geo-redundancy, faster network connections, and even higher server performance.
Kubernetes portfolio is complete
SysEleven already successfully completed its Managed Kubernetes portfolio this year. The company is one of the few German managed Kubernetes providers to offer such a comprehensive range of services. Customers can choose between three services: With “MetaKube Core”, they get professional high-performance hosting of their cloud applications. Thanks to “MetaKube Accelerator”, they can create and manage software projects with little effort and run them in the SysEleven OpenStack Cloud. When using “MetaKube Operator”, the provider takes over both the hosting and the operation of the cloud applications.
