Using Renovate to keep your version dependencies updated

Our colleague Christian Hörl gave a 30-minute talk at Container Days 2022 in Hamburg.

There he shows a practical example how updating your dependencies can be automated by using Renovate.

There are many third-party tools in place such as webservers, databases, logging-stacks and monitoring tools which are providing infrastructure to your own software application. Keeping an eye on every security fix and update in the upstream repositories of these tools can be time consuming. In this talk you will learn about the particular steps from its basic setup to the very first merge request.
